My Will to You

Back again aren’t we?

Never to quit, whispers the Depths

Fragments of luminous sweeps within

a knight -

stumbles with his rusty companion

embroidered in scars.

and grimace as he mumbles:

“I am a purgatory facade.”

I’d tell you my thoughts,

but most are a blur.

I don’t like to remember -

nor does my desire burns

yet, purging my mind won’t suffice

for the coward, now stands before you.

Strung by shrieked lullabies

treasured lives were never mine -

now to the abyss

My orison no more.

What benevolence is left, oh mighty Depth?

A stringless disarray

an endless trance,

one that did not kill

nor gifted grit

That is what remains.

Quite the fool you are, oh little knight

desperate I would say

Now heed these words

let them scorch your mind,

till all corners are drenched to oblivion,

“Tis all that awaits you?

Or is there something greater?

Make my words bleed of guilt;

as this is not your end.”

The knight reaches out

hands in the air

Untouchable.

Though caresses the knight to ablaze

His gaze softens,

grip tightens

“To be not, my final act.”

Then to be it shall

Till we meet again

till then your legacy is mine
